Rose Pecos is an Indian woman born in the tribe of Pueblo with English and Spanish origin. She was educated in the white city of Albuquerque and now is engaged to another Indian from the Arapaho tribe. She doesn't really know what civilization to choose, so she try to adapt to her three worlds.

HANNAH (assistante anglaise, 2000-2001)

Rose Pecos is an Indian woman who is shared between two civilizations : she has been educated in the white city of Albuquerque, but is engaged to an Arapaho and her parents and relatives still live in the Indian village of Jemez Pueblo. Whenever she moves from one world to another, she experiences a culture shock. Yet she refuses to choose, preferring to adapt to each culture in turn.
